Featuring: Rich Whalen, PhD & Beverly Kris Jaeger, PhD, Mechanical & Industrial Engineering
Would you like to be as effective as possible in the classroom and in your courses? We all have had some successes as well as lessons from our educational experiences that can be shared. Join two of our Engineering Education practitioners as they share some easily implemented best practices. They will draw from their own backgrounds, from their extensive ASEE* involvement and also facilitate gathering expertise from those in attendance (YOU!). They will also discuss some ways to really enjoy your work as an educator, even amidst all the other responsibilities you have -research, service, leadership, administration, and life!
This event is open to any engineering faculty. Please join us for this informal, interactive, condensed, and engineering-focused guided event! RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, or inquire at the MIE office in334 SN.
*Both Kris & Rich have been American Society for Engineering Education award-winning authors, presenters and division chairs and have won multiple teaching awards at NU.
Lunch will be provided
