Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering

At the MS level students may pursue a program preparing for advanced practice or for MS thesis research. All MS students with assistantships are required to complete a thesis. Other students may elect either the thesis or non-thesis option. All course work must have the approval of the academic advisor.

Students enrolled in the MS in Mechanical Engineering have the opportunity to also pursue one of the many engineering graduate certificate options in addition to or in combination with this program. Students should consult their faculty advisor regarding these options. The MS in Mechanical Engineering can be combined with a Gordon Engineering Leadership certificate.
